bunny hutch construction
The craftswoman has built a wonderful bunny hutch, with limited help from her husband. Here she is at work on the porch with her power tools. The hutch is complete and up on a terrace we cut into the hill above the house. Pictures of the bunnies in their new home to come

farm fresh eating
A big bowl of salad greens from the garden. Fresh cheese in the pot. Whey for some biscuits. Wild leeks to sauté. Carrots, radishes and a parsnip for munching. MMMMM. I like farming. All fresh from the field today and only 100 ft away.

our bottle baby
This weekend has been an adventure in parenthood. Biddy, has joined our family. She does not sleep, she poops everywhere, and until yesterday would not take the bottle or solid food. Today, she will eat anything especially newspaper.

the garden
The garden is one of the first things I started at the farm. The posts are to become an arbor and at their base are climbing plants (muscadines). The raised beds are filling up with leafy greens, brassicas, and onions. The herbs skirt a couple of fruit trees and two rows of berries provide a wind break. It is a work in progress but is taking a much better shape now that Donnelly is tending the garden. The pictures below are of the garden and then the upper field of the farm.
